During winter snow scooter safaris are a popular pastime; make sure to experience the spectacular mountain rides. The closest skiing resort is only 3 km from the hotel.

Smakriket Jämtland is a term describing a cooperative effort between local growers, wholesalers and restaurants. Persåsen participates in this effort and the hotel restaurant therefore offers high-quality local produce in all seasons. Admire the scenic lake views while enjoying a tasty lunch or dinner.

At Persåsen Swedish handicraft can be experienced at close range. All furniture and fittings are designed and constructed by the hotel workshop and the unique guest rooms are decorated with local timber.
