The Altes Tor is situated at the beginning of the Rheinsteig hiking trail, beside the largest bend of the River Rhine. Maps for hikers and motorcyclists are available from reception.
Between Tuesday and Sunday, you can enjoy a wide range of delights in the hotel restaurant, which offers excellent sausages and other meat dishes supplied by the in-house butcher’s. A self-service beer garden is available in the summer.
